I want to steal your heart away
I want to take you where we’ll play
Where we’ll see the Northern Lights
As we sail the open seas
It won’t matter where we’ve been
Each new day we’ll start again
With the unknown before our eyes
Where ocean diamonds sparkle bright
Sailing, sailing away
Sailing, we’ll be sailing away
I want to see your smiling face
Through the journey that we’ll take
Where the swelling ocean waves
Rock us into sleep’s sweet dreams
Sailing, sailing away
Sailing, we’ll be sailing away
Good night, sleep welL my darling
Good night, its been a day
Sleep now, sweet dreams are calling
Come the day, we’ll be on our way
When we land at port of call
We’ll drink it in and live it all
In quarters where we’ll eat and sleep
Where we create the dreams we’ll keep
Sailing, sailing away
Sailing, we’ll be sailing away
We’ll be sailing away
Cruise ships with 30,000 people: No! Instead a romantic, impossible dream. My love and I sailing around the world in a small ship traversing to the far north, seeing Northern Lights. And continuing on.
A dreamscape laced with multiple intertwined guitars. Borrowing from the style of master Telecaster guitarist Helen Ibe of Nigeria. Keyboard master Jean Pierre Garau put the frosting on top with sprinklings of piano and soothing synthesizer.
